2. What is CBD?
CBD is an acronym for cannabidiol, which is one of the major cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Cannabinoids are a class of chemical compounds that act upon cannabinoid receptors that are part of the body’s natural endocannabinoid system.
3. What are CBD soft gels?
A CBD soft gel contains naturally produced CBD oil rather than the powder used to make CBD pills, resulting in an increase in bioavailability.
4. How does CBD work in the body?
CBD works with the cannabinoid receptors that are part of the body’s natural endocannabinoid system (ECS). The ECS plays an important role in regulating a wide variety of physiological processes.
5. How much CBD should I take?
We provide suggested serving sizes on all of our products. The ideal serving size of CBD will vary from person to person.
Always consult with your physician concerning all health-related conditions and concerns. Keep your physician informed about all medications and dietary products you are taking, including natural or herbal products.
6. Will I get "high" if I take your CBD products?
No. Unlike THC (the chemical that produces the "high" in marijuana), CBD is a non-psychoactive substance. Our CBD products are solely derived from industrial hemp plants.
7. Do your CBD products contain THC?
All of our CBD is a broad-spectrum hemp oil extract produced from specially hybridized industrial hemp plants and contains below the legal limit of 0.3% THC. This 0.3% limit is the federal maximum legal level for all CBD products.
8. Is CBD the same as medical marijuana?
No. Our CBD pure hemp extract is derived exclusively from industrial hemp plants, not marijuana plants. In accordance with the 2018 Farm Bill, to qualify as hemp, cannabis must have a THC level of 0.3% or less on a dry weight basis.
9. What is the shelf life of your products?
Expect a shelf life of two years when kept in a cool and dark environment such as on kitchen or bathroom shelves.
10. How do I know that your CBD products are effective and credible?
Before you use any CBD product, you should look for certain things that ensure you get a safe and quality product:
11. Why should I choose your CBD products?
We adhere to strict standards during product formulation, manufacturing, and packaging:
12. How is CBD extracted from hemp?
CBD can be extracted from hemp using a number of methods. We take farm-grown hemp plants and extract broad-spectrum CBD plus other cannabinoids using a specialized and proprietary process. Other CBD suppliers use chemical extraction which leaves behind other essential cannabinoids during processing. Research has shown that the elimination of these other cannabinoids reduces the effectiveness of CBD.
13. What is the endocannabinoid system?
The endocannabinoid system (ECS) is comprised of a group of endogenous cannabinoid receptors found in the brain of mammals. It is also present throughout the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. The ECS is composed of neuro-modulatory lipids and many endocannabinoid receptors which regulate a number of physiological processes and mechanisms within the body. The endocannabinoid system receptors are specifically receptive to cannabinoids found in the hemp plant.
14. What is the difference between hemp seed oil, CBD oil, and hemp extract?
The difference is cannabinoids - the chemicals that act on your body’s endocannabinoid system. Hemp seed oil is derived solely from the seeds of the hemp plant, which means it only contains trace amounts of cannabinoids such as CBD. By contrast, broad-spectrum CBD oil (a hemp oil) or a broad-spectrum hemp extract is made from all parts of the hemp plant, and contains these cannabinoids in effective amounts.
